Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced technician, gaining hands-on experience in various technical processes and contributing to the overall quality of our inspection process. Job Description Specifically you will be trained in Immersion Ultrasonics and working with Aerospace hardware for a local client. We will train you as required (formal and OJT) to become a "certified" Technician over approximately 12-18 months. It is also helpful if you are interested in Engineering/Technical type of work. This position involves, internal documentation development, hands on inspection processing and image analysis on computers with specific software. This position is in a laboratory/shop environment and currently is 1st shift. This is a full-time job with basic benefits. Benefits will be initially limited to, paid for main Holidays (up to 8 days) and one week (40 hours) of vacation after one year of service. There will be no medical benefits provided at this time. Starting wage will be $28/hour followed by an increase to $30/hour after 90 days of satisfactory performance. Further compensation review once certified as a Level 1 and/or Level 2 inspector. In addition, there will be an annual bonus based on business profitability each year. We are looking to fill this role within the next 90 days but can be quicker if we find the right candidate. Job Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
  • Must be able to pass Pre-employment and random Drug Tests
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • It's an on-site/in-person role, no remote work
  • Willing to work 35-45 hours/week during first shift hours (between 6AM-5PM)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both Verbal and Written (email)
  • Have good computer skills, MS Office, etc.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing/engineering/inspection quality systems and requirements
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks working with local management Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with NDT and/or shop/laboratory environments
  • Prior NDT Aerospace experience
  • Engineering or technical background
