Magnetic Particle Inspector Location:

Responsibilities :

Perform MPI inspections using bench, coil, central-conductor, and yoke methods. Conduct MPI inspection sequence on all barrels and bolts. Perform daily system checks and maintain inspection equipment. Interpret and document indications per ASTM, ASME, MIL, and customer standards. Demagnetize parts and verify residual fields before release. Maintain inspection records, defect maps, and traceability. Support calibration, maintenance, and coordination with Production, QA, and Engineering. Follow safety, PPE, and chemical handling protocols.

Qualifications :

Level II MPI Certification Previous experience with NDT is required Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required Ability to read blueprints Hands-on experience with MPI benches, yokes, gauges, and meters. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with ASTM E1444/E1444M or NAS-410 standards. Additional NDT certifications is a plus Knowledge of GD&T and manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). #
