May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. $20-24 / hour Job Description WelderTemp to Hire $20•$24/hr

Hours:

6am•4pm with a 1 hour lunch Mon•Thurs and 6am to 10am on Friday

MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS1.

Perform welding tasks in the manufacture of products to conform with specifications and certificationrequirements2. Weld production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials includingstainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which mayinclude TIG and/or MIG3. May operate program welding machine to weld production units4. Set up fixtures and lay out work for production and prototype piece parts5. Trouble shoot problem welding areas6. May train other welders and/or provide welding support to others as needed7. May work with various internal departments to establish welding process parameters8. Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individualproduct7. Participate in continuous improvement processes8. Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures9. Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area10. Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision11. Perform work of a miscellaneous nature as required
