This opportunity involves leading multidisciplinary engineering efforts, translating clinical and stakeholder needs into technical requirements, and guiding complex systems from concept through market release and sustaining. The ideal Electrical Systems Engineer will have strong experience in system architecture, requirements management, system integration, and verification within a complex engineering environment. Key Focus Lead systems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that complex medical robotic systems meet stakeholder needs, technical requirements, and performance expectations. What You'll Do Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle. Translate clinical and stakeholder needs into system concepts, requirements, and technical solutions. Develop system architectures and decompose high-level requirements into detailed subsystem requirements. Apply systems engineering techniques, including requirements traceability, modeling, simulation, trade studies, and system budgeting. Lead system integration activities to ensure electrical, mechanical, software, and other subsystems function together. Support and potentially lead system verification efforts to confirm designs meet established requirements. Evaluate technical tradeoffs and resolve complex system-level engineering challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from initial concept through development, market release, and sustaining activities. Maintain alignment between user needs, system requirements, architecture, and verification activities. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Strong experience in systems engineering and system architecture development. Experience with requirements management, decomposition, and traceability. Proven ability to lead system integration and verification activities. Experience with modeling, simulation, trade studies, and architecture frameworks. Understanding of the complete product development lifecycle, from concept through market release and sustaining. Familiarity with clinical stakeholder needs and medical device development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate competing technical priorities. Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, and manage multiple priorities.
