You are being redirected Once you are on the page, please click the refer button Job Overview Qualifications Benefits Job Overview Powertrain Calibration Methodology Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and validating propulsion system calibration processes which achieve world-class range, fuel economy, and drivability meeting current and future emission standards. The engineer will develop new calibration processes for both virtual and physical testing resources using techniques such as MIL, HIL and Physical properties. This role will include cross functional interaction with different Center of Excellence (CoE) teams and support engineers. Process development will occur with new powertrain technologies such as ICE, xHEV and BEV configurations for both future and carry over applications. The engineer will develop disruptive technology processes that optimize the efficiency, quality, and product delivery for the calibration functions.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 4+ years of relevant experience with Design of Experiments, Engine Modeling, Artificial Neural Networks, Reactive Problem Solving, or statistics Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines Strong expertise and knowledge of engine control strategies and complex optimization strategies Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data Working knowledge of engine analysis and calibration tools, emissions development, engine technologies and competitive products Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently Effective communication and interpersonal skills Experience with engine dynamometer measurement systems, data acquisition, and data analytics Inquisitive, attentive to details, process oriented, and ability to work independently Proficient in advanced simulation tools Proficient in Matlab /
Simulink Preferred Qualifications:
