We are currently seeking Civil Engineers and Designers to provide design, technical, and production support in our Charlotte office. As we continue to grow, we are looking for strong candidates matching our core values: Develop strong relationships with clients to meet their current and future needs Effectively communicate with clients, keeping them well informed about project status, code requirements and ways to reduce project cost Deliver the highest quality of service by exceeding expectations, meeting deadlines and putting together value-based solutions Key responsibilities Use Civil 3D to design and draft key aspects of civil site design, including site layout, erosion control, grading & storm drainage, roadway, water, and sanitary sewer systems. Research state and local permitting requirements along with design standard requirements to support project approvals. Prepare engineering construction documents, technical reports, analysis, and entitlement documents for use in construction activities. Perform construction administrative duties to include review of product submittals, site visits for conformance with construction documents and witnessing of on-site utility testing. Recognize when there are better ways of doing things, research and recommend to broader organization and participate in implementation. Simultaneously manage multiple projects along with providing self-check work for completeness. Collaborate with internal design team, correspondence with municipal reviewers along with design team meetings with development team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Demonstrated proficient knowledge in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite 4-5 years of prior relevant consulting experience required. Strong technical and organizational skills Strong communication skills, including the ability to fluently read, write and speak English Must be able to work in an in office/hybrid-work environment, primary work location is Charlotte, NC We ask interested candidates to submit a cover letter and resume directly to: .
