We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, the candidate would primarily support the build and test of products in our Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) factory but will also have the opportunity so support our Final Assembly factory, from sub-assemblies to box-level end-items. In this role, the candidate must demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, a focus on quality, good communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the Operations organization and with other disciplines/functions. This position includes the following activities:

Support the assembly, test, and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies, modules, and sub-assemblies, working directly with hardware and design engineering personnel as required.

Create rework plans for factory fallout.

Interface with Engineering, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause.

Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and develop methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.

Monitor Quality data for trends and outliers and report regularly to the team.

Feedback lessons learned to the design teams for continuous improvement.

Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, engineering change orders, and other documentation.

Interface with governmental customers, auditors, and suppliers as required.

Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel.

Support relocation of products, manufacturing equipment, and test equipment between manufacturing sites and lead transition to production.

Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.

Implement engineering change orders on products as required.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

BS Engineering Degree

3 years working in a production manufacturing environment

Experience using metrics and data to drive actions.

Proven track record of solving complicated production issues and/or driving yield improvements.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

5+ years experience working with circuit card assemblies in a transition to production and/or product sustainment role

Completed Green belt six sigma training

Root Cause Corrective Action problem solving experience and training

Experience with new product introduction and product transition to manufacturing

IPC-A-610

Certification

Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:

$97008 - $164914

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
