Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Our MET II team focuses on troubleshooting our automated equipment, and ensuring that all adequate installs, repairs, replacements, or any process takes place in an efficient, safe and organized way. They ensure the dissemination of automotive engineering knowledge by designing preventative maintenance and operating procedures for any current and newly developed devices. B
  • Shift (12hr Schedule): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday from 5:30PM-6:00AM A
  • Shift (12hr Schedule): Pittman Schedule (inquire with a Recruiter) from 5:30AM
  • 6:00PM 2nd Shift (10hr Schedule): Monday to Thursday from 4:00PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow standard OSHA and company-specific safety procedures and protocols in a motor vehicle manufacturing setting Read and redline mechanical drawings; use power and hand mechanical tools, and test motor vehicle equipment Replace both servo and stepper motors, and diagnose motor drive systems Install and maintain equipment with circuits up to 480 volts; Install, repair, replace wiring including low voltage I/O, dedicated cable sets, and control panels; Interpret schematics for troubleshooting; Understand common industrial electrical and automated components Troubleshoot automation systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, VFD, and hydraulic Use the CMMS system to record and investigate maintenance history Understand and create instructions, including preventive maintenance and operating procedures, for our team members and maintenance technician team Monitor and correct equipment faults in real-time to ensure high production performance; troubleshoot automation systems Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance and inspection activities Uses the PLC to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices Other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Minimum educational experience requires a High School Diploma. Minimum experience includes 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-volume, applicable industry. An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in engineering, robotics, automotive, or other technical-related disciplines is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of PLC's inputs and outputs, pneumatic adjustments, common engineering testing procedures (DOE's, PFMEA's, etc.), engineering documentation and reports.
  • DSSA is required by the ATF for all employees to pass a drug test and a background check prior to employment
  • If you have experience working with ZF TRW, Dexcom, West Pharmaceuticals, Shamrock Foods Company, CapPlus Technologies, AeroSpec Inc, or Kaiser Aluminum, your experience fits right into this role!
