A Robotics Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of robots, welding and repairing broken and run-down parts, and programming logic controllers (PLC). Assists engineers in design and developing applications for them.
$35/hr•50+/hr+ (DOE & Travel) 1st Shift•2nd Shift ( Must be ok with heavy OT Possible 6-7 days a week We are seeking an experienced Robot Weld Technician with strong robotic welding experience to support automated weld cells, troubleshooting, and production support.
MUST HAVE
5-10+ years of robotic welding experience FANUC and Nachi robot experience required Must be able to use a teach pendant to make robot adjustments Ability to modify robot positioning, touch up points, and make program adjustments to correct weld issues Strong understanding of MIG welding processes and weld quality
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and support robotic weld cells during production Use teach pendant to adjust robot paths, positions, and touch-up points Make corrections to ensure proper weld quality and eliminate weld defects Perform robot setup, recovery, and minor programming adjustments Support downtime recovery and process improvements Work with maintenance and engineering teams to improve robotic welding performance
