Job Description
CAD Technician - Land Surveying
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Computer and technical skills including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Carlson, and Excel spreadsheets Proficient at reading plans and able to communicate/interface with other design professionals and regulatory personnel Experienced in reducing conventional field data and preparing survey maps on projects such as boundary, topographic, ALTA, subdivision and construction stakeout surveys Reliable and good work ethic .RESPONSIBILITIES
CAD drafting of residential surveys and plats (Boundary, ALTA/ASCM surveys, Topographical Surveys, Construction Surveys, Elevation Certificates, etc.) Read and interpret deeds of record, metes and bounds descriptions, easements, plats, maps, FEMA maps, Architectural and Engineering Plans, etc. Performing routine survey computations Demonstration of good judgment and thorough knowledge in the application of survey principles, researching existing survey records, interpreting plans, operating survey equipment, and collecting, processing, interpreting data for engineering and surveying projects.WORK CONDITIONS
Valid driver's license is requiredSALARY & BENEFITS
- Salary range of $52,000-$80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
