Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work with diverse student populations including those with various speech and language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific goals Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to students with speech and language challenges Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and communication goals Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented educational environment
