Job Description

T&M Associates is currently seeking a Full-Time Survey Technician 2 in our Middletown, NJ office. The ideal candidate will support land surveying projects by preparing accurate and detailed survey drawings and documents for use by designers, engineers, project managers, and clients. This role will contribute to the production of civil engineering plans, tax maps, easement documents, land survey plats, and other related deliverables. Key Responsibilities Prepare and revise a variety of land survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including base maps, tax maps, ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary surveys, subdivision plans, metes and bounds descriptions, digital terrain models, and contour maps. Perform least-squares traverse adjustments and other survey calculations to support accurate project deliverables. Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and other team members to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule. Coordinate project deadlines, participate in project meetings, and communicate project status and priorities with the team. Maintain organized, accurate, and complete drawing files in accordance with company and project standards. Adhere to applicable surveying standards, procedures, and quality control requirements. Support field survey activities as needed. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in surveying, engineering, construction, or a related discipline preferred. 5+ years of land surveying experience, including office and/or field experience. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience with least-squares adjustments and survey calculations. Familiarity with Carlson Field to Finish is a plus. Knowledge of Leica GPS and robotic survey equipment. Ability to perform field survey tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $75,000 - $85,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
