Public Right of Way Walking Technician Quality Counts LLC seeks a Public Right of Way Walking Technician to support transportation and traffic engineering projects through accurate field data collection. In this role, you will walk assigned public rights-of-way, record pedestrian, traffic, and infrastructure conditions using mobile tools and GPS, and follow strict data quality and safety protocols. You'll collaborate with project teams and public-sector clients, helping inform transportation planning and infrastructure decisions while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Walk designated public rights-of-way to collect traffic, pedestrian, and infrastructure data Use mobile devices and GPS tools to accurately record field observations Follow standardized data collection protocols to ensure data quality and consistency Document field conditions, safety issues, and anomalies encountered on routes Collaborate with project managers and data analysts on schedules and data needs Comply with all field safety procedures and local regulations Support basic data review and upload after field shifts Represent Quality Counts professionally when interacting with the public and client representatives Field data collection Use of mobile data collection tools/apps Basic traffic and pedestrian data methods GPS and mapping skills Data entry and quality assurance Reading right-of-way plans and maps Safety procedures for fieldwork Basic data analysis in Excel or similar Report documentation Communication with public and team members Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver's license Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varied weather Basic GIS or mapping familiarity (preferred) OSHA/field safety training (preferred)
