CREW CHIEF/CONSTRUCTION SURVEYOR

Tampa based Land Surveying company looking for Construction Survey Crew Chief to service our clients in Bonita Springs and surrounding counties. With a company vehicle provided, this position would be based out of our Ft. Myers Office. Canidate must have a minimum of 1 years' experience with a valid driver's license and clean driving record for travel throughout the Southwest, West Central and Central Florida area. Under the supervision of a Professional Surveyor and Mapper, perform land survey field work to determine precise locations and elevations. Be able to assemble field data, field notes and perform survey calculations, using survey instrumentation and computer programs. Compensation $25.00-30.00+ Hourly Employment Type Full-Time Benefits Offered Competitive pay Company Vehicle (Must have clean driving record) Vacation and holiday pay Opportunities for overtime Candidates should be able to do the following: Boundary and Topographic Surveys Data Collection Files / Field Notes Civil Stakeout Shoot in points Set stakes for grade / cut / fill Stake out for Storm Line, Sanitary Sewer Lines, Building/Property Corners, etc. Experience/Training on TopCon Magnet Software is preferred but not required. Capabilities and Credentials Well-developed understanding of general concepts of commercial survey work. Working knowledge of relevant technical software, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations. Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation. Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.
