May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.
Overview We are seeking a Florida Licensed Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) to support a growing transportation practice serving public infrastructure clients throughout Florida. This role will oversee transportation survey projects, provide technical leadership, review survey deliverables, and ensure compliance with FDOT standards and Florida surveying regulations. Candidates with experience in MOur Clientle LiDAR and modern geospatial technologies are highly preferred. Qualifications:
Active Florida Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) license required 0-5+ years of experience after licensure (all experience levels encouraged to apply) Experience performing or managing transportation and roadway survey projects Familiarity with FDOT standards, procedures, and survey requirements Experience reviewing plats, legal descriptions, boundary surveys, right-of-way mapping, and construction staking Working knowledge of survey equipment, GPS, robotic total stations, and data collection technologies MOur Clientle LiDAR experience strongly preferred Experience processing point cloud data is a plus Familiarity with MicroStation, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, OpenRoads, or similar software is beneficial Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills Ability to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and public agencies
