A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

We are seeking a full time party chief to provide survey layout on construction sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy individual to jump into an extraordinarily unique career. A company truck and gas card are provided. Our focus is on the construction side of surveying. Our instruments are Trimble S-Series robotics with TSC7 data collectors. This is an excellent steppingstone on the journey to becoming a Professionally Licensed Surveyor (PLS). Cad backround in survey drafting is a plus.
