Position Overview At Maven Mapping Solutions, we specialize in merging traditional survey methods with the newest, cutting-edge technologies to create a more efficient and accurate product. Offering a comprehensive suite of surveying services, from aerial LiDAR & Photogrammetry, mobile mapping, SLAM scanning, terrestrial 3D laser scanning, bathymetric surveying, topographic design mapping, boundary surveying and 3D
BIM/CIM/MEP
modeling, we are able to provide a mapping solution for any project. The Maven team emphasizes employee collaboration and professional growth to create well-rounded surveyors. We are dedicated in embracing our military ethos of Integrity, Discipline and Leadership. We are seeking a detail-oriented, Party Chief to support our office and field teams with data collection, aerial UAS/UAV flights, and training of new survey technicians. This position will work closely with the Project Managers and Principals to ensure every project and field procedure is as efficient and accurate as possible. Cross-training between field and office will be required, and office work will be a part of the full-time hybrid position. This position will require occasional travel between Washington, Oregon and Idaho, as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily field operations for survey crews Perform and oversee: Topographic surveys

surveys Boundary and Right of Way surveys Control network establishment Remote sensing data collection Terrestrial 3D laser scanning UAS/UAV LiDAR & Photogrammetry flights SLAM scanning Bathymetric surveying Operate modern survey equipment (GNSS, robotic total stations, data collectors, digital levels). Ensure accurate data collection, documentation and transfer. Maintain clear, organized field notes and logs. Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, subconsultants and project teams. Train and mentor survey technicians. Perform field calculations and quality control checks. Maintain equipment, vehicle and safety compliance. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of surveying experience. 2+ years of party chief experience leading and guiding survey team members. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license (preferred) or willing to take licensing test. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate vehicles in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Clear driving record preferred. High School diploma or equivalent. Willingness to travel out of town for work ranging from 2-14 days at a time. Someone with the drive to learn new technologies and complete office tasks when needed. Potential Salary Range :
$35.00/hr - $50.00/hr The posted salary range is dependent on the experience and level of knowledge the applicant shows.
