Pay Rate:
$34.00-35.00/hour Join an innovative medical device company developing next-generation catheter technologies. We are seeking an R D Test Technician to support product development and design verification in a hands-on laboratory environment. This role partners closely with R D engineers to perform mechanical and electrical testing on catheter components, subassemblies, and finished medical devices. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and functional testing including: Tensile Burst Fatigue Flex Torque Catheter insertion and retraction testing Execute development and design verification testing following established protocols and test methods. Assist engineers with test fixture setup, implementation, and semi-automated testing. Collect, document, and report test data accurately. Maintain compliance with quality procedures and applicable standards. Perform repetitive testing with a high degree of precision and attention to detail. Learn and operate complex laboratory test equipment. Qualifications Associate degree (or equivalent experience) with 1+ year of related laboratory or testing experience . Experience in the medical device industry preferred; space or defense industry experience will also be considered. Hands-on experience with tensile testing, microscopy, and/or electrical measurement equipment . Ability to quickly learn and operate complex test equipment. Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. Interview Process 1st
