Job Description
- Purpose/Scope of Position (role)
- The Plant Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality systems, processes, and controls to ensure product conformity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- + Lead the creation and implementation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for manufacturing processes lacking formal risk assessment methodology.
- Education & Experience
- Minimum + Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field, or in lieu of degree a minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality, quality engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement role. Preferred + Lead Auditor Certification + Advanced knowledge in RCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools. + Six Sigma Training / Certification
