Position Overview We are seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to support customer quality activities for our interconnect and communication products. This role will serve as a key interface between customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, with responsibility for customer complaints, root cause analysis, corrective actions, customer audits, and RMA management. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in customer quality within the electronics industry and is familiar with cables, connectors, optical modules, or related electronic products . Key Responsibilities Customer Quality & Complaint Management Investigate and analyze customer-reported quality issues, including on-site defect verification when required. Lead the 8D problem-solving process , including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification. Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve customer quality issues and drive timely closure. Manage defective inventory associated with customer complaints, including factory stock, in-transit products, and customer inventory. Track quality-related costs and corrective actions resulting from customer complaints. Customer Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly customer quality reports. Manage customer requests for quality documentation and related information. Communicate quality findings, corrective actions, and improvement plans clearly to customers and internal stakeholders. Customer Audits & Quality Support Work closely with key customers to review quality performance, identify improvement opportunities, and capture lessons learned. Support customer audits at U.S. and overseas facilities. Conduct internal pre-audit assessments based on customer requirements and audit checklists. Track audit findings and corrective actions through completion and verify effectiveness. RMA Management Coordinate the evaluation and disposition of returned products. Verify RMA products and determine appropriate actions, including repair, replacement, credit, or scrap. Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify recurring quality issues and implement preventive actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related technical field . Minimum 3 years of experience in customer quality, customer complaint handling, or a related quality engineering role within the electronics industry . Experience with cables, connectors, optical modules, optoelectronic products, or other electronic hardware is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and Seven QC Tools . Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO

45001, and

QC 080000

. Experience supporting customer audits and managing RMA processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills. Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to travel to customer or manufacturing locations as needed.
