Job Description

SENIOR RELIABILITY ENGINEER
Augusta, GA HTI is recruiting a Senior Reliability Engineer for a global manufacturing company opening a state-of-the-art operation in Augusta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing facility, help establish effective processes, and contribute to the long-term success of the operation.

WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field Approximately 7-10 years of reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or related industrial experience Experience improving the reliability and availability of complex manufacturing equipment Knowledge of root cause analysis, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, statistical process control, and preventive maintenance Familiarity with predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, motor analysis, ultrasonics, or alignment Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance or another CMMS Strong mechanical, electrical, industrial, or materials engineering knowledge Ability to analyze equipment data and turn findings into practical engineering solutions Experience leading projects and working across maintenance, production, and engineering teams Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement experience preferred Willingness to work onsite in an industrial environment and wear required
PPE WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL LOOK LIKE
Identify and resolve high-impact equipment reliability and availability issues Use maintenance and operating data to prioritize improvement opportunities Lead root cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are completed Develop engineering solutions for recurring equipment failures Improve preventive maintenance tasks, procedures, spare-parts strategies, and operating standards Support equipment troubleshooting and planned shutdown activities Partner with production to establish operating parameters that maximize equipment life Collaborate with suppliers and technical partners to improve equipment maintainability Lead reliability-improvement projects from identification through implementation Provide technical guidance to production, maintenance, and engineering teams Track results and replicate successful solutions across similar equipment
