$85,000 - $95,000 per year Job Details - We are looking for a Quality Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex quality challenges. This individual will work closely with Production, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations while driving continuous quality improvements throughout the manufacturing process. This is a highly visible role that supports both internal manufacturing operations and external customer quality initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting problems, interacting with customers, leading corrective actions, and improving manufacturing quality systems. What is the purpose of this role? This individual will own day-to-day quality engineering activities while supporting customer requirements, supplier quality, production quality, and new product launches.
Responsibilities include:
Leading customer and supplier quality initiatives Completing PPAPs, PFMEAs, and Control Plans Driving Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions Supporting APQP and product launches Performing quality audits and capability studies Monitoring SPC and process capability Working directly with customers regarding quality concerns Supporting Quality Inspectors and Technicians Ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards The hiring manager is specifically looking for someone who can step into the role quickly with previous automotive manufacturing experience and minimal ramp-up.
