Job Description

Overview The Senior Reliability Engineer i nitiates and executes reliability centered maintenance activities to improve plant operations , increase capacity, and decrease unplanned eq uipment downtime . Responsibilities → What You'll Do Coaches and develops Plant Maintenance and Operations team in Break Down Elimination Methodology . Leads the development of Predictive Technology Communities of Practice across the enterprise. Reviews and recommends changes to plant equipment selection with a focus on improved equipment reliability . Leads the monthly plant reliability review and quarterly Reliability Steering Committee (RSC) Workshop. Leads the development of the enterprise Equipment Baseline Restoration (EBR) Program . Leads the development of the enterprise Equipment Asset Care Plan (EACP) Program Partners with
SAP PM COE
to improve SAP useability and improved support for reliability initiatives. Coordinates internally with cross-functional teams , operations/maintenance personnel, and externally with suppliers and consultants. Understanding of food manufacturing plant equipment operation and system interrelationships .
Reliability:
Uses knowledge and skills to guide and train others to identify , assess, prioritize, and manage equipment reliability challenges .
Compliance:
Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations . Qualifications → What You'll Bring BS degree in engineering or a technical field is required , preferably in industrial , chemical or mechanical engineering ; M asters degree is preferred but not required . Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in manufacturing plant equipment operation Demonstrates s trong people leadership, capable of leading high performing teams. Experience using Microsoft Office software is required . CPG, nutritional, or food processing experience is preferred. Experience in coaching and developing plant operations/maintenance staffs . Understanding of automation systems and controls integration is preferred. Working Conditions/Environment Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. Frequent ( 50% ) travel to plant locations in the U.S., as well as vendor locations globally. The noise level in the office is quiet. About Us The Marzetti Company (
