| Gray Court, United States ZF Transmissions Gray Court, LLC Plant Quality Engineer About the team: The Plant Quality Engineer actively supports major problem-solving projects, trains ZF staff on advanced tools and techniques, improves data management systems to reduce risk, and assists with training materials, critical projects, and customer complaints. Plant Quality Engineer:
Support company corporate principles, goals, and quality requirements, including automotive standards. Monitor manufacturing processes and assess product quality for compliance with customer and company specifications. Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, risk analyses, lessons learned, audit records, field return data, complaints, scrap, and rework evidence. Interpret prints and measurement tools, including GD&T. Apply quality tools, problem-solving methods, lean manufacturing techniques, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams on problem-solving activities and key projects from planning through completion. Create, support, and maintain training materials for basic and advanced problem-solving methodologies while helping develop and motivate employees. Guide manufacturing personnel and develop customer-specific problem-solving methodologies and templates. Your profile as
Plant Quality Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in engineering 3-4 years of experience (internship/co-op included) Proven ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Proven creativity and analytical methods with a high-level of attention to detail Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Why you should choose
