Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Senior KC-46 Fleet Reliability Systems Engineer to support the KC-46 System Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Team in Tukwila, Washington or Everett, Washington . The successful candidate will provide senior reliability and maintainability engineering expertise with emphasis on Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for the growing KC-46 fleet including both domestic and international customers. This is a unique opportunity to support the KC-46 program as a part of a highly engaged team with a broad set of responsibilities including, but not limited to: Parts Obsolescence, reliability and maintainability. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deeply analyze reliability, obsolescence, and sustainment data to identify opportunities to improve aircraft availability and effectiveness. Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solution s Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interface s Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architectur e Perform analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission succes s Develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processe s Resolve cross-functional technical issue sEstablish DMSMS Programs:
Develop and implement comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issue s Proactively researching parts across program to seek out possible obsolescence issues and support mitigation for any potential obsolescence risks identifie dGather Engineering Data:
Collect and analyze engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyse sIdentify DMSMS Risks and Issues:
Monitor and identify risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readines sEvaluate Impact:
Assess the potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operation sDevelop Recommendations and Roadmaps:
Create actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder requirement s Works under general supervisio n May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as neede d Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statemen t 3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering Principle s 3+ years of experience with extracting and compiling data from multiple source s 3+ years working with customers and suppliers 3+ years of experience analyzing data, performing trend analysis, and compiling report s Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc. ) Active U.S. Security Clearanc e Experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environmen t Experience with computer programming and large database managemen t Experience with Government-Industry Exchange Program (GIDEP ) Experience with Item Unique Identification (IUID ) Experience with parts obsolescence management and mitigatio n Experience working on military contract required deliverable s Experience with project management or project engineerin g Experience in a role that requires strong analytical and organization skill s Experience withMicrosoft Office Tools:
