Job Description

Immediately Hiring! Work on real hardware—not just simulation—while combining UVM verification, lab testing, and system integration as part of a high-visibility program modernizing legacy systems into next-generation technology, with strong opportunities for growth. Open to engineers growing into UVM or DO-254 environments. Quest Defense Systems & Solutions is FPGA Verification Engineer to support a major upgrade program replacing legacy FPGA technology in a Digital Control Unit. In this role, you'll help design and execute verification and on-target testing (OTT) for real hardware systems. You'll work across simulation, lab testing, and board-level integration—helping bring new technology into production. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys both UVM-based verification and hands-on lab work.

U.S. Citizen or Green Card required What You'll Do Develop and run FPGA verification using SystemVerilog and UVM Build testbenches, sequences, scoreboards, and coverage models Support on-target testing (OTT) and lab-based validation Create and execute test plans, test cases, and verification reports Debug issues at the RTL, FPGA, and board level Support board bring-up and hardware integration Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams Contribute to DO-254 documentation and verification activities What You Bring 3-8+ years of experience in FPGA or digital design verification Experience with SystemVerilog and/or UVM Experience with simulation, debugging, and testbench development Understanding of digital systems and FPGA design flow Experience with tools like Xilinx Vivado, QuestaSim, or similar Strong problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with DO-254 or safety-critical systems Experience with hardware testing, board bring-up, or lab validation Knowledge of timing analysis or FPGA interfaces Experience with requirements tools (DOORS) or traceability Familiarity with Git, Jira, or version control tool Exposure to aerospace, defense, or embedded systems

Pay:
$140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
