Experienced Surgery Center Registered Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Staff Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management. Take comprehensive medical histories for new patients and update histories for existing patients. Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, and provide health coaching tailored to patient needs. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as IV placement, accessing ports or sterile dressing changes while adhering to infection control protocols. Requirements Valid RN license in the state of employment with current certification. Previous relevant clinical experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, critical care (ICU). Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology. Ability to perform advanced skills such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, suturing, and aseptic technique confidently. Critical thinking skills with experience in triage, acute pain management. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and case management across various healthcare disciplines. Pay:

$37.43 - $45.07 per hour
