Experienced Truss Builders / Stackers Day and Night Shift

Timberland Lumber Company is looking for an experienced Truss builders on Day and Night Shifts for our Truss Plant in Brazil, IN. Must be reliable with a good work ethic and reliable transportation. Day Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Night Shift hours are from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Duties/Responsibilities included but not limited to: Operate equipment safely; wearing required PPE Attention to detail with correct length, angle, heel, and backcut Build trusses Carrying cut lumber Use iPad to monitor jobs needed & communicate with fork truck operators to obtain proper lumber needed Must be able to recognize and troubleshoot errors; work with Maintenance to address/fix errors Work in a fast pace environment Responsible to maintain clean machine and work area Must be able to lift boards properly to avoid injury

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED certificate Experience operating a saw (1-3 years preferred) Basic math skills Prefer experience using hammer, staple gun, and tape measure Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs. Standing for long periods of time Attention to detail
