F&B Host

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned) Communicates with Kitchen and Floor staff to maintain the flow and pace of the table seating. Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for guests. Greets all guests in a courteous, efficient manner. Escorts guests to tables and provides menus. Busses tables, taking dirty dishes to the dish pit and cleaning on and around table area. Answers questions concerning resort activities, hours of operation, weather conditions, etc. Immediately refers patron complaints to manager on duty. Assists servers, bartenders, and manager as needed during restaurant operations. Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and restocks table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations. Completes opening and closing side work as directed. Other associated tasks & duties as assigned.

Environment:

This is a physically demanding, indoor position. Must be able stand and walk for long periods of time and occasionally lift/carry 30lbs.
