Eversys Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eversys Switzerland, is positioning itself to become the leading commercial espresso machine supplier in North America. Eversys is seeking to hire a Field Technician in the NW NJ / Southern Border of NY area.

Job Description:

The Field Technician role will be responsible for on-site support to ensure that client machines are performing optimally and as intended. The Field Technician will be expected to diagnose and resolve issues in an efficient and complete manner while communicating clearly with customers regarding related topics such as repair scope and operational best practices. The position will engage with multiple Eversys departments, external service partners, and direct clients, which will require strong time management, communication, and customer care skills.

Responsibilities Include:

Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Eversys espresso equipment. Safely operate and care for assigned company vehicles while traveling throughout the NW NJ / Southern Border of NY region Maintain vechicle parts stock while upholding inventory best practices with Northvale warehouse Assist the Service and Parts Teams with troubleshooting and technical projects Maintain accurate and timely communications and notes, especially written records, regarding all assigned work orders and projects Engage with customers, colleagues, and external service vendors with positive, solution-oriented attitudes and planning Operate effectively within defined work planning and escalation processes to ensure services are completed efficiently Support training initiatives as needed and appropriate to trainee skill level. Engage with Salesforce service ticket platform and team specific communication channels to track field-notes for case resolution and history. Support rotating on-call weekend schedule to meet client SLA requirements Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years field service technician experience Experience in coffee equipment and/or commercial foodservice repair is preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills High technical and mechanical aptitude Extensive understanding of plumbing and electrical applications with the ability to use standard troubleshooting tools and methods Ability to work cross functionally with internal and external partners Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, reliable, and punctual Additional Information The expectations outlined in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee assigned to this classification.
