Payroll Consultant

Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll professional to manage full-cycle payroll operations for a multi-state workforce of approximately 700 employees. This role will be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency while partnering cross-functionally with HR and Finance. Responsibilities Process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for 700+ employees using ADP Workforce Now Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, with a strong focus on California labor laws Administer prevailing wage payroll and ensure proper reporting and compliance Perform payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting Partner with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and support payroll operations Maintain payroll records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and systems Qualifications CPP certification required 5+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment Advanced experience with ADP Workforce Now Strong knowledge of California payroll laws and compliance requirements Experience with prevailing wage payroll processing Expatriate payroll experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
