The Role We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You'll play an important role in the day-to-day accounting operations of the business, supporting everything from AP/AR and reconciliations to inventory accounting, EDI transactions, retailer purchase orders, and month-end close. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to a rapidly scaling CPG business and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as we grow. What You'll Own Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Manage and monitor EDI transactions , retailer purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation Help reconcile the full retail transaction lifecycle from purchase order ? shipment ? invoice ? payment Review vendor invoices, match purchase orders, verify coding, and assist with weekly payment runs Reconcile bank, credit card, prepaid, fixed asset, and accrual accounts Support inventory accounting, including COGS reporting, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis Research retailer deductions, chargebacks, short payments, and other discrepancies Maintain supporting schedules and prepare financial analysis for management Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and other teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately Support audits, tax preparation, and external financial reviews Respond to and follow up on state or tax notices as needed Help improve accounting processes and internal controls as the company scales Support additional finance and accounting projects as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred Experience with EDI, retail accounting, inventory accounting, CPG, or manufacturing is a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities evolve Strong communicator who can work effectively across departments High level of ownership, integrity, and professionalism Why DryWater® You'll have the opportunity to join DryWater at an exciting stage of growth and get exposure across finance, retail, ecommerce, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing . Compensation & Benefits:

At DryWater®, For this role, the expected base salary range is $65,000-$75,000, and comprehensive benefits.
