This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who is organized and able to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced accounting/finance department. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate the month-end close process including the preparation and review of journal entries and review of general ledger transactions. Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliation and ensure that assets and liabilities are properly stated. Assist with the preparation and review of monthly financial statements. Review all inventory transactions twice a month and properly address any irregularities or significant adjustments with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams. Reconcile revenues and analyze margins and expenses monthly. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Assist with the completion of annual audits and budget preparation. Maintain the company's pricing structure. Review all promotions and deductions for accuracy and ensure timely processing of deductions on a weekly basis. Prepare and file sales tax returns and 1099 forms. Review and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of the department's processes. Prepare monthly customer and product profitability analysis and other ad-hoc reports as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and payroll Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ERP experience - NetSuite preferred Detail-oriented and accurate Strong written and oral communication skills with a collaborative approach Strong organizational and presentation skills Able to take initiative to solve problems Legally authorized to hold employment in the US.
