We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of a fast-paced manufacturing and consumer products organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working within NetSuite or SAP, strong month-end close experience, and exposure to inventory and cost accounting. This is a contract to hire position with on a growing tream.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.

Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.

Support inventory accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations and cycle count reviews.

Analyze inventory, purchasing, and manufacturing variances and investigate discrepancies.

Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate recording within NetSuite or SAP.Assist with cost accounting activities, including product costing and cost of goods sold analysis.

Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of manufacturing transactions.

Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.

Maintain compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.

Assist with process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives.
