Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage group billing activities, ensuring charges, adjustments, and supporting documentation are processed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and related account balances.
- Review financial transactions for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Support routine accounting operations by reconciling accounts and helping maintain organized financial records.
- Work within established departmental procedures to complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks efficiently.
- Assist hotel finance leadership with reporting needs and other accounting support tied to hospitality operations.
- Use Opera and related systems to research billing details, update records, and help streamline accounting workflows when needed.
