Job Summary Veethree Electronics & Marine LLC is a growing designer and manufacturer of electronic products serving global automotive, marine and industrial markets. We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant - Manufacturing to join our finance team. This role offers outstanding exposure to manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, ERP systems and financial reporting while working closely with operations, procurement and production teams. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, support inventory and costing activities, improve financial processes and contribute to timely, accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities General Accounting Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Perform bank, account and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close activities while meeting reporting deadlines. Support preparation of financial statements and management reports. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls and GAAP. Manufacturing & Cost Accounting Assist in maintaining accurate standard costs for manufactured products. Support inventory valuation of raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods. Monitor material, labor and overhead variances. Assist with product costing, margin analysis and profitability reporting. Investigate inventory and cost discrepancies, determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory programs. Reconcile inventory records between ERP and financial systems. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices and payment requests. Assist with customer invoicing and cash application. Reconcile supplier and customer accounts. Support credit and collections activities as required. Operational Support Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Shipping and Receiving to ensure accurate inventory and cost information. Assist with internal and external audits. Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance and manufacturing processes. Perform other accounting responsibilities assigned by the Controller. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience; manufacturing or cost accounting exposure a plus Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles); familiarity with cost accounting principles preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query and data analysis. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Infor LN, SAP, Epicor, or similar manufacturing ERP) a plus Strong attention to detail, especially with inventory and cost data Ability to work cross-functionally with off-site India based finance team, and on-site non-finance teams (production, operations, procurement) Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable, on-site presence at our Bradenton facility Preferred Progress toward CPA certification Coursework or experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control processes Technical Skills Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office 365 ERP/MRP Systems Financial Reporting Inventory Accounting Cost Accounting Data Analysis AI-enabled productivity tools Key Competencies Integrity and confidentiality.
