Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Associate and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our administrative operations. Duties Accounts Receivable Support Provide day-to-day coverage for A/R, shifting between functions based on workload, deadlines and staff absences. Assist with processing customer payments and customer remittances accurately and on time. Manage Filter Wholesale A/R, including invoicing, cash application, collections follow-up and aging review. Perform customer account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve short-pays, credits and disputes. Setup New Part Accounts Accounts Payable Provide day-to-day coverage for A/P, shifting between functions based on workload, deadlines and staff absences. Verify and process all rebates, confirming eligibility, calculations and supporting documentation before payment or credit. Assist with processing vendor payments and vendor statements accurately and on time. Other Duties Month End Close Reporting Update Pinnacle Partner Funds Tracker Daily Special Projects as Needed Requirement Minimum of two years' experience is required in a similar role. High school diploma is required, Associate Degree is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills. Must possess strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis in Excel as well as Accounting Software experience is a plus.
