Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role requires a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and a commitment to improving the quality of life for those we serve through effective behavioral therapy. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles. Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring patient care is tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective strategies for behavior management. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate clients and families about behavioral health concepts, techniques, and strategies for success. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field. Experience A minimum of two years of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies. Experience in special education settings or working with people with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation practices is essential. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral health outcomes. Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
