full-time A growing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance and accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting while assisting with the close process, analysis, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounting principles, the ability to analyze financial information, and experience working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including preparation and review of financial information. Review financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable accounting standards. Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Assist in the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and related supporting schedules. Provide support during internal and external audit processes Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes, including participation in compliance initiatives. Support special projects such as process improvements, financial system enhancements, or reporting initiatives. Prepare various financial analyses and reports as requested by leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred. 3+ years experience Public accounting experience ERP and strong Excel skills Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
