full-time Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make a significant impact on an organization's growth and performance? We're partnering with a dynamic and expanding company seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the accounting function while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership on financial planning, business performance, and organizational growth initiatives. In this role, you will: ? Provide overall leadership of the accounting and finance functions, developing and mentoring a high-performing team ? Direct all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, reporting, and compliance activities ? Oversee general ledger accounting, financial reporting, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and project accounting ? Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the integrity of financial information ? Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling activities to support business objectives ? Partner with executive leadership to evaluate operational performance, business investments, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives ? Develop and present financial insights, KPIs, and board-level reporting to senior leadership ? Provide financial leadership for capital investment projects, acquisitions, expansions, and other strategic initiatives ? Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve profitability and cash flow ? Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting capabilities, systems, and automation initiatives ? Lead relationships with external auditors, banks, lenders, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders ? Evaluate and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices to support a scalable organization
What We're Looking For:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ? 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership of accounting teams ? Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis ? Experience partnering directly with executives to support strategic decision-making and business growth ? Proven track record leading organizational improvements, process transformations, and systems implementations ? Experience managing capital-intensive operations, project accounting, manufacturing, construction, real estate, or related environments preferred ? CPA required or strongly preferred; MBA is a plus ?
