Solutions for Accounting, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing accounting firm on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the client base and workload continue to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys working directly with small-business clients and wants the opportunity to grow their role within an established accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage assigned clients, and help grow the amount of billable work they manage over time.

Responsibilities may include:

Preparation and review of individual and business tax returns Tax planning and client advisory services Reviewing financial statements and accounting records Working with S corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, and small businesses Communicating directly with clients regarding tax and accounting matters Responding to IRS and state tax notices Identifying additional accounting and tax services needed by existing clients Developing relationships with new clients Working collaboratively with our bookkeeping and accounting staff

What We're Looking For:

Active CPA license Strong tax preparation and tax planning experience Experience working with small businesses and closely held companies Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong client communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable taking ownership of assigned clients and workload Interest in helping grow the firm's client base and their own role within the firm

Position & Hours:

This position will begin part-time and hourly , with hours based on client workload. The goal is for the CPA to gradually take responsibility for an increasing amount of billable client work. As that workload grows and supports additional hours, the position has the opportunity to transition into a full-time role .

Compensation:

Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. Pay:

From $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
