We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a collaborative team in Saco, Maine. Responsibilities:
  • Administer weekly payroll activities and verify timely, accurate processing for employees.
  • Prepare and issue daily sales billing while maintaining organized and up-to-date transaction records.
  • Oversee the company's accounting platform, including routine updates and ongoing data accuracy within the system.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
  • Produce financial statements, supporting schedules, and regular reports to assist business decision-making.
  • Support tax-related activities by organizing records and assisting with required filings and documentation.
  • Maintain accounting files, records, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting obligations and help ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, separation paperwork, and day-to-day benefits administration as needed.
  • Follow established workplace safety expectations and company policies in all aspects of the role.
