+ PTO + 401(k) Detroit, Michigan Are you experienced in Manufacturing Cost Accounting looking to step into a Cost Accountant role for a growing organization where you can develop your expertise, take on greater responsibility and progress your career? On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an global industry leading manufacturer where you'll play an important role within the finance team, working closely with manufacturing and operations while receiving the support and development needed to progress long term. This established manufacturer is investing heavily in its operations, systems and people as it continues through an exciting period of growth. You'll join a collaborative team where your work will directly support operational performance and wider business decisions. In this role, you'll be responsible for cost accounting activities including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting and month-end close. You'll work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to analyse performance, identify cost-saving opportunities and provide accurate financial insight. The Role Perform cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting and month-end close. Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to analyse costs and provide financial insight. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities. Identify cost variances and opportunities to improve operational performance. The Person Cost Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory and manufacturing finance. Looking to develop their career and take on greater responsibility within a growing manufacturing business.
