You will be performing a variety of accounting and general administrative duties related to the processing and maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable records for the company's clients and vendors. This role supports daily financial operations, ensures accurate recordkeeping, and provides administrative and customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Process daily Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions in accounting software (JobBoss) Send, receive, and verify invoices for goods and services Enter invoices and data accurately for payment processing Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents to verify accuracy and receipt of goods Assist with preparation of weekly check runs Maintain organized electronic and/or physical filing systems for financial and inventory records Ensure transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures Support monthly and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries in a professional manner Maintain accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including: Accounts payable and receivable General journal entries Cash management Bank reconciliations (assist as needed) New customer and Vendor account set up, credit reference and tax exemption form Support management and team functions as needed Provide professional customer service to visitors, clients, and vendors Answer phones, manage voicemail, and greet customers/visitors Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned Follow all safety rules and regulations Ensure compliance with quality systems, customer requirements, and regulatory standards Support continuous improvement initiatives
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 5+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or bookkeeping experience preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP preferred) Experience with accounting software and automated financial systems (JobBoss preferred) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processing Proficiency with 10-key and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
