Staff Accountant:

Review and analyze budget, identifying budget issues and providing solutions. Assist with month, quarter and year end closing responsibilities including journal entries and reconciliations Monthly reconciliations Act as backup for Accounts Payable Projecting financial trends including annual forecasts Assist with preparation of operating and salary budget Monitoring of annual grants and transactions in compliance with fund requirements Maintain accounting records for endowment and restricted and unrestricted funds Assist with audit preparation Experience Preferred for the Staff Accountant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus Non-profit experience a plus Experience with Jenzabar major plus Excellent communication skills & attention to detail Compensation $30.00-35.00 commensurate with experience #
