Job Description

General Scope of Position:
Performs operation functions including preparation of account reconciliations and various financial reports. Experience in data entry, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and spreadsheet analysis required. Experience with tax filings and regulatory compliance preferred. Must be well organized, detail-oriented and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and general accounting skills. Must have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to contribute to the success of the team. Excel, Word and Windows experience required. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Sefar employees are responsible for the quality of their work through understanding and fulfilling our customers' requirements. 2. Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly account reconciliations. 3. Support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. 4. Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting financial analyses and reports as directed. 5. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation. 6. Assist with the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and budget information. 7. Support internal and external audits as needed. 8. Assist with preparing and filing sales and use tax returns, state and local tax filings, and other regulatory reports. 9. Support as needed treasury activities such as cash management and account reconciliations. 10. Prepare government reporting requirements, including census and other statutory filings. 11. Perform special assignments and/or projects as requested by the Controller and/or Assistant Controller. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
