Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and customer billing support. Follow up on outstanding balances and communicate with customers to resolve collection issues in a courteous manner. Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy to support reliable financial reporting. Assist with month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and organizing supporting documentation. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and other routine accounting reports for internal review. Enter and verify accounting data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related systems with strong attention to detail. Use Excel to analyze account activity, organize financial information, and support reporting needs. Provide accounting support during operational changes, including adapting processes related to a new software rollout, while helping the team maintain continuity of service. Previous experience in a Staff Accountant or closely related accounting role with hands-on responsibility across multiple accounting functions. Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Ability to contribute with limited ramp-up time and make sound decisions in a fast-moving office environment. Detail-oriented, steady approach with strong judgment and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data review, reconciliations, and reporting tasks. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software. Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial records and transactions.
