Remote Interim Senior Accounting Manager

A SaaS tech company is seeking a Remote Interim Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, revenue accounting, and month end close.

Key Responsibilities:

Directly manage and develop an OPEX Accounting Manager, Revenue Accounting Manager, and OPEX Senior Accountant Review work product across OPEX and revenue accounting functions Own and drive the monthly close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by direct reports Partner with FP&A and department heads to monitor spend against budget and flag variances Provide oversight and review of revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 Support the Revenue Accounting Manager in reviewing contract terms, customer arrangements, and deferred revenue schedules Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure proper revenue treatment on new and complex deals

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Experience at a high growth SaaS or tech company CPA preferred
