Job Description
- Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Produce sales tax reporting.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax reporting for federal and state.
- Manage 1099 reporting.
- Develop payroll Excel spreadsheets and journal entries to QuickBooks. Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, necessary for dealing directly with a client's owners and staff on an ongoing basis.
- Well-organized with high attention to detail and accuracy, flexible, and a creative problem solver.
- Excellent phone skills and customer service, handling all client requests.
- Able to multitask and prioritize duties and projects to meet deadlines, and to work as an integral member of the firm's team.
- Trustworthy, with an outstanding reputation for integrity and confidentiality. Given the depth of access to the primary client's full financials, strict adherence to client confidentiality and any applicable NDA terms are required. Requirements/Qualifications
- Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop with Payroll and QuickBooks Online; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); and Acrobat. Education
- High school diploma required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Reporting & Structure
- Day-to-day guidance/oversight from Accounting partner on all accounting/bookkeeping processes.
- Participation in weekly Monday office meeting.
Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per weekBenefits:
