Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable professional who is eager to learn and grow within our Accounting Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day Accounts Receivable process while developing broader accounting skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. Working directly under the CFO, you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of financial reporting, inventory accounting, month-end close, and other key accounting functions as you grow with the company. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and is excited to build a long-term career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and collections Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records and prepare related reports Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer payment and account inquiries Learn and progressively take on additional accounting responsibilities, including: Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger Assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements Supporting and enforcing internal accounting controls Partnering with warehouse operations to improve inventory tracking and accuracy Assisting with inventory control processes by identifying discrepancies and supporting corrective actions Participating in month-end and year-end close procedures Analyzing financial data to support business decision-making Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience Basic understanding of general ledger functions and financial reporting Experience with Quickbooks software Knowledge of inventory accounting or inventory management processes preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
Any Human Resources experience is a plus Familiarity with ServiceTitan also a plus

$50,000 - $65,000 based on experience (negotiable for the right candidate)
